About Us

A Few words about us

Our guesthouse is located in the settlement of Aprovato and is 20 minutes away from the port of Andros (Gavrio) and 5 minutes from the beautiful Batsi. Here you will find absolute peace and quietness combined with comfort and luxury, an ideal vacation spot on a lush land of 2,500 sqm. with many olive trees and conifers, fragrant and colorful flowers – daisies, roses, bougainvillea – and a huge garden. Built on the slope of Mount Kouvaras, our two apartments all have views of the endless blue and the islands of Syros, Kythnos, Gyaros, Tzia, Makronisos and Rafina.

The guesthouse consists of two luxury homes with a capacity of 4 people each. Each house is autonomous with a separate entrance.

A bit of history

Eleni’s Guesthouse is a family-run business that will be operating in 2021 for the first time. It has been built with a lot of passion, love and respect for our guests. We are very proud of our work and we believe you will appreciate it! Aiming at comfort and high aesthetics, we made something that can be placed the top of the quality scale of accommodation on the island. However, in addition to our personal work, we also gave part of our soul to achieve something that will make you feel at home. We put ourselves in your place and based on our own strict requirements we built Eleni’s Guesthouse. Our goal is for you to come as a guest and to leave as a friend, satisfied with what you experienced in beautiful Andros. We are waiting for you!

Construction Technology

Eleni’s Guesthouse is a newly built villa house respecting green technology. The frames are made of PVC that resists the sea corrosion and are equipped with thermal break technology, energy glazing and recliners. The shutters have been traditionally made of wood to blend with the island architecture. All of the above result in constant temperatures in the bedrooms and all areas of each apartment. They also have all Italian net screens to protect from mosquitoes (smart plisse) and let you enjoy the sea breeze without interuptions. Our lighting in all areas is of LED technology, either in wall sconces or in hidden lighting, significantly reducing the energy footprint. The existence of large capacity solar water heaters helps in reducing the energy footprint since we can have hot water all day for all the residents with the power of the sun.

All furniture has been selected with a taste that inspires luxury to decorate our apartments. Mr. Maltezos in Kifissia helped in this, from whom we acquired high quality and aesthetic furniture.

– Visit the main town “Chora”. It is fascinating with magnificent neoclassical mansions which date back to the time when the island was a maritime superpower. You have just to walk to find out the real magic.
– See the towns of Batsi and Gavrio. In the summer, locals and visitors alike flock to these wonderful places for dinner and late night drinks
– Swim in crystal clear waters. The island is home to some of the best Greek beaches. “Vitali” the most scenic, “Zorkos” the most exotic. No words can describe the beauty of these beaches.
– Catch the most breathtaking sunsets
– Go hiking. Andros is a hiker’s heaven. Lush valleys, dramatic mountain tops, running rivers and remote settlements
– Taste the best tranditional food on Andros “frutalia”. There are also mouthwatering sweet things to taste.
– Visit some of the best museums: The Archeological museum of Andros in Chora. The Maritime museum and the museum of Contemporary Art
– Embark on a scenic road trip. Explore the unbelievably beautiful scenery with the high mountains, green valleys, white-washed villages and stunning beaches on a road trip
